When I was 10 my Grandma gave me this rock. She said it was sand that
was melted by the 1st atomic bomb. I think she said it was given
to her by a friend of hers who was a scientist on the project. It was a
long time ago and I wasn't taking notes. That would make this a chunk of
Trinitite (From Ground Zero at the Trinity Test where the heat fused the
sand into glass.) If you look real close at one of the central bubbles,
it seems to have a certain skull-like resemblance.
