This is Nancy Selvin with husband Steven in her Berkeley Studio. She inspired the article in American Craft magazine (Aug./Sept. 1982) that got this ball rolling. In the foreground are some pieces from her collection, notably a platter from the famous Chicken On A Stick restaurant chain that blossomed briefly in West Texas during the late 50's. It was shut down after charges were leveled by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
