A high cyclone fence topped with barbed wire surrounds 11 1/2 acres
of land adjacent to Tepco Beach. Covered with sedimentary deposits of china
to a depth of 8 to 10 feet, this area has been designated a regional treasure
by the American Clay Association. They plan to mine it at some future date.
